Requiem by the Lake

Okay this was probably one of the most ambitious piece of work I have done in a while. And the shading isn't even done right >u>;;

Anyway this is done as a cover to my RoTG fanfic. It's set in the late 1690s in Virginia. If you didn't know, that period was infamous for the deadly witch hunts but in Salem, Massachusetts.

But the witch hunts created a ripple throughout all of New England. Therefore, women, girls, and men were under the constant scare of being deemed a 'heretic'.

I tied together that period's sense of piety and their fear of magic with RoTG.. because well the whole theme of the movie is 'believing' in magical deities--which would've been heavily frowned upon during that time.

So here is Jack Frost and an original character named Sophia and their friendship is all about the struggle between two differences.

Jack, free, invisible, with no responsibilities and Sophia, a girl, real, independent minded, but is unseen and barred down by a religious society. Both are lonely souls that trek the earth without much of a reason, but once they found each other, there blooms the most impossible of friendships.

So tehe I just wondered if Jack had ever cared about somebody during those 300 years. Don't judge her yet ;u; this isn't a romantic story.
